India reports 23, 039 infection cases, 721 deaths



KATHMANDU: India has reported 721 deaths from Coronavirus after 40 died in the last 24 hours as Friday morning.

With 1, 669 new cases, the number of infection cases has reached  23, 039.

Currently, 17, 306 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country while 5, 012 have returned home after recovery. The India government has conducted tests on 500, 542 people for Coronavirus so far.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 210 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 190, 496 and infecting 2,716, 320 people as of Friday morning.
