Issuing a press release following the committee meeting on Tuesday, the State’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law called on the concerned transport entrepreneurs to continue the supply of daily essentials like medicines, foods, fuel, drinking water and milk.

Meanwhile, the District Police Makwanpur said the public life remained normal on the first day of the lockdown.

However, the police held 38 motorcyclists who were defying lockdown in the district.
