India PM Modi to address nation at 8 pm on COVID-19 pandemic



NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address the nation at 8 pm this evening about the situation arising out of coronavirus outbreak.

“Will address the nation at 8 PM today, 24th March 2020, on vital aspects relating to the menace of Covid-19,” the Prime Minister tweeted on Tuesday morning,” PM Mod has tweeted.

Prime Minister Modi has been taking to social media and urging people to prepare themselves instead of panicking.

PM Modi has also asked the people of India to follow lockdown instructions seriously.

On March 19, he had announced a Janata Curfew calling for ‘resolve and restraint’ to fight coronavirus.
