NA vice-chair Dahal contributes one-month salary to govt fund



KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Shashikala Dahal has contributed one-month salary to the ‘Coronavirus Infection Prevention, Control and Treatment Fund’ set up by the government.

Dahal instructed the administration finance section of the Federal Parliament Secretariat to deposit her one month salary to the fund.

Dahal also urged the general public to stay safe at home by obeying the government’s recent directives.

Noting that Nepal is also vulnerable to the risks of coronavirus infection, she asked all not to get terrified but to adopt precautionary measures to save off the virus.

Nepal government has urged to deposit contributions to its bank account 196000001101 in Rastriya Banijya Bank to assist in the fight against COVID-19.

Earlier, House of the Representatives Speaker and National Assembly Chair contributed their one month-salary to the fund.
