SURKHET: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Krishna Bahadur KC, Chairperson of Junichande Rural Municipality from Surkhet while taking Rs 800 thousand bribe on Friday.
The CIAA team alarmed earlier about the misconduct and abuse of power of the Chairperson arrested him while he was accepting the amount as bribe.
He was arrested from Surkhet.
Further investigation is going on in the case.
