National team announced for one-day series under ICC World Cricket League-2

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s national team has been announced to play the first one-day series under the ICC World Cricket League-2 in the domestic ground.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced a 14-member team led by Gyanendra Malla for the triangular series taking place among Nepal, Oman and the United States of America.

The team was selected among 24 players in the closed training.

Paras Khadka, Dipendra Singh Airee, Sandeep Lamichhane, Aarif Sheikh, Karan KC, Abhinash Bohara, Binod Bhandari, Kamal Singh Airee, Kushal Malla, Rohit Poudel, Sharad Veswakar, Sushan Bhari, and Lalit Rajbanshi have been selected for the series.

Kamal Singh Airee has been first time selected in the national team.

The games have been scheduled at the Tribhuvan University Ground from February 5 to 12.
