One dies, three injured in Baitadi jeep accident



BAITADI: A person died and three others were injured in a jeep accident at Sunarya rural municiplaity-7, in Baitadi on Thursday morning.

Driver Dhan Bahadur Bohora, 27, of Bungal municiplaity-11 died on the spot when the jeep (Se 1 Ja 843) met with the accident at around 5.00 am.

The injured are Janakraj Bhatta, 35, of Purchaudi municipality-4 of Baitadi, Gangadutta Bhatta, 40, of the same place and Haris Bohora, 28, of Bitthadchir rural municipality.

The accident occurred when the Bajhang-bound jeep from Dhangadhi went out of control and fell down some 150 meters off the road.

Critically injured Janakraj and Gangadutta have been taken to the Dadeldhura Hospital.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, said spokesperson of the District Police Office Baitadi Janak Bahadur Dhami.
