COVID vaccine will be made available as soon as it hits market: Health Minister Dhakal



KATHMANDU: The government has said that it was preparing to make available the COVID-19 vaccine to the general public as soon it hits the market after completing the certification process.

Speaking on the occasion of World Biological Awareness Week, Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal said that all preparations have been made to introduce the vaccine in Nepal as soon as it becomes available to the people of other countries.

Health Minister Dhakal said that the government has moved ahead by amending the law for the management and easy availability of vaccines.

He said that the law has been amended through an ordinance to make it easier for Nepali citizens to use the vaccines as soon as they are made available.
