KATHMANDU:  New ripples have been created in the Nepali political spectrum after the Dahal-Nepal group published and distributed copies of the political memorandum submitted by Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal among the party cadres.

A book containing 32 pages compiling the political proposal submitted by Dahal and the letter written to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli calling for party meetings has been published and  circulated among the party rank and file.

The book entitled ‘Party unity and party building’ has been published and circulated among the cadres by the Dahal-Nepal group.

Meanwhile, the Oli faction has taken strong exception to this Dahal-Nepal’s step accusing the latter of taking the intra-party dispute to the local level while the efforts were  underway to patch up  differences at the central level.

“The political dossier was immediately leaked to the media and now it has been published in the form of a book and distributed among the cadres, which clearly reveals the ill-intent of the Dahal-Nepal faction,” said a leader close to Oli.

Dahal had tabled a political proposal targeting Oli at the Secretariat meeting held on November  13.
The Secretariat meeting is taking pale on November 28. Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to submit his written response to the political memorandum tabled by Dahal.

The publication and distribution of the books has added fuel further to the already belligerent parties of the ruling NCP.
