Gas bullet-hit claims two in Chitwan



CHITWAN: Two people have died after being struck by a gas bullet in Chitwan district.

The deceased have been identified as Sachin Danai and Nawaraj Danai of Rapti municipality-5, Bhandara, said District Police Office, Chitwan.

The accident took place when the gas bullet struck a motorcycle, Pradesh-3 03-002 Pa 118 at Hardi of Rapti municipality along the East-West Highway on Monday night.

Critically injured Sachin and Nawaraj died while being rushed to Bharatpur for treatment.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the gas bullet and the motorcycle under control.
