Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll hits 842 with 13 new fatalities

KATHMANDU: A total of 13 people died of the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus death toll has reached 842 as of Saturday afternoon with the new deaths.

Meanwhile, Nepal’s COVID-19 tally has reached 155,233 as of Saturday afternoon after 2,225 persons tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, altogether 13,846 sample tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.

A total of 2,846 individuals got discharged from the hospitals in the past 24 hours while the number of people winning the battle against the virus reached 108,334 in the country.

Nepal currently has 46,057 active cases.

Likewise, 3,322 people are in quarantine facilities across the country at present.
