Two more COVID-19 infected men die in Banke and Dang

KATHMANDU: Two additional people infected with COVID-19 have died in Banke and Dang districts.

A 50-year-old man breathed his last in the course of treatment at Bheri Hospital at 10 pm on Friday, said Naresh Shrestha, the focal person of the District Health Office, Banke.

Originally from Nepalgunj Sub Metropolitan City-1, Dhambojhi, the patient had been undergoing treatment at the Hospital after testing positive for the virus on October 12.

With this, the number of COVID-19 deaths has reached 30 in Banke.

Similarly, a coronavirus-infected man from Dang who was staying in home isolation has died.

A 53-year-old from Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City-18 succumbed to the virus on Friday, informed COVID-19 Special Hospital, Beljhundi.

The patient was associated with the land revenue office at Ghorahi. He had tested positive for coronavirus on October 20.
