Minister Tumbahangphe bats for legal literacy to combat crime



TEHRATHUM: Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentarian Affairs Dr Shivamaya Tumbahangphe has pledged to discourage criminal activities by launching legal awareness campaign.

Minister Tumbahangphe who arrived at her hometown in Terhathum on Friday to observe Dashain festival said so in a tea-party organized by the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), Tehrathum on the occasion of Dashain.

Minister Tumbahangphe shared that the government had already begun curbing the crimes by formulating several Acts through ordinances.

Stating that many Acts were in the offing, she informed that as many as 16 Acts related to fundamental rights were already formulated and brought into effect.
