Sudurpaschim Province sees 39 fresh coronavirus cases

DHANGADHI: Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 39 more people in Sudurpaschim Province in the last 24 hours.

The new cases were confirmed when 520 swab samples were tested in three laboratories of the province.

Dilip Kumar Shrestha, Information Officer at the Seti Provincial Hospital, said that the infection was confirmed in 24 people from Kailali in a test conducted on 349 samples at the laboratory.

According to Information Officer Shrestha, the infection has been confirmed in 17 people of different wards of Dhangadhi Sub-metropolis.

Similarly, the infection has been found in four people of Lamkichuha Municipality, one person of Godavari Municipality and two people of Janaki Rural Municipality.

Likewise, the coronavirus has been diagnosed in four out of 129 samples tested at the Doti District Hospital COVID-19 laboratory.

According to the hospital’s laboratory In-charge Shaurabh Shrestha, the infection has been confirmed in two people each from Doti’s Shikhar Municipality and Silgadhi Municipality.

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 11 out of 43 people tested at the COVID-19 laboratory of Dadeldhura Hospital.

According to Ishwori Prasad Bhusal, laboratory In-charge of the hospital, the infection has been confirmed in nine people of Purchaudi Municipality of Baitadi, one person of Patan municipality and one person of Navdurga Rural Municipality of Dadeldhura.
