Weather to improve from Sunday



KATHMANDU: Meteorologists have forecast rains in various places of the country on Thursday.

The rain, which is occurring since the last few days, will continue until Saturday and the weather will gradually improve afterwards, said Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).

According to the Division, the weather will remain generally to fully cloudy today with chances of light to moderate rains in most places of the country.

Heavy rains are likely in some places of Bagmati Pradesh, Gandaki Pradesh, Pradesh 5, and Karnali Pradesh, said the Division.

Similarly, the heavy rains are expected in all the seven provinces tonight.

Meanwhile, the Division has urged people especially those living on the banks of rivers in the provinces with the possibility of heavy rains to take precaution warning that floods and landslides may occur.
