Vidya Balan to resume work amid Covid-19

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Vidya Balan, who is resuming shoot of her upcoming film “Sherni” in October, says shooting amid COVID-19 pandemic will be a challenge, and she will go ahead with it.

The production on Sherni had come to a halt in mid-March as India went into lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus.

Balan plays a forest officer in the film. She added that the ideal situation will be to resume shoot post-monsoon in October in the jungles of Madhya Pradesh.

Balan said people will have to maintain caution as they resume work and normal activities.

She also urged everyone to take precautions.
