Coronavirus spreads to all 32 wards in Kathmandu metropolis

KATHMANDU: Coronavirus has spread to all the 32 wards of the Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

As many as 2,579 people have been infected with the COVID-19 in Kathmandu district, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Of them, 1,606 cases are in the Kathmandu Metropolitan City alone.

Out of 1,606 people infected in the 32 wards of Kathmandu metropolis, 188 have recovered and eight have died from the virus.

As many as 123 people were infected with the virus at Koteshwor alone. Of them, seven have recovered.

A total of 3,262 people have been infected with the coronavirus in three districts.

There are 411 and 272 infection cases in Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, respectively.
