20 more test positive for COVID-19 in Chitwan

CHITWAN: Twenty more people have been infected with the coronavirus in Chitwan district.

The new infection cases were confirmed during tests at the laboratory of Chitwan Medical College on Sunday night.

Among those infected, a 74-year-old woman and 23-year-old man are from Bharatpur -1, a man, 31, from Bharatpur-2, a 31-year-old man from Bharatpur-3 and two women aged 22, 33 from Bharatpur-5.

Similarly, a 43-year-old man from Bharatpur-9, 23-year-old woman from Bharatpur-10, two men aged 35 and 52 from Bharatpur-11, a 20-year-old man from Bharatpur-15, 20-year-old woman from Bharatpur-16, 62-year-old man from Bharatpur-28 and 30-year-old woman from Khairahani-12.

Similarly, a 49-year-old woman from Hetauda-4, 38-year-old woman and 42-year-old man from Gaindakot-2, Nawalparasi, 22-year-old woman from Kawasoti-14, 65-year-old man from Kalaiya-4, Bara and 60-year-old man from Gorkha-1 have tested positive for COVID-19.

Similarly, out of 120 swab samples tested at Chitwan Medical College, 20 reports came out positive.
