Two govt employees caught with bribe



KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested two government officials including an Accounting Officer in Sarlahi district for receiving bribe.

Acting on a tip-off, an anti-graft body held Accounting Officer Bhupendra Kumar Singh and Accountant Ranjit Kumar Yadav of Haripur municipality of the district on Tuesday.

According to Pradeep Kumar Koirala, the Spokesperson for the municipality, Singh and Yadav were held with Rs 4,000 bribe taken from service seekers.
