Baglung girl tests negative for coronavirus in fifth test



BAGLUNG: A 19-year-old girl undergoing treatment at Dhaulagiri Zonal Hospital has tested negative for coronavirus in her fifth test.

Chief of District Health Office Suraj Gaire said that her sample was tested at the Western Regional Hospital under Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences on Thursday and the result came negative for the first time.

Earlier, the girl had tested positive four times.

“Her swab sample will be tested again tomorrow,” he said, “If negative, she will be discharged.”

The girl had returned from Belgium via Qatar transit on March 17.

Earlier on Saturday, a 65-year-old woman was discharged from the hospital after her 16-day stay.
