Health Minister Dhakal says all seven provinces will have lab



KATHMANDU: Minister for Health, Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal today said that modern and well-equipped lab like in the Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Diseases Hospital at Teku, Kathmandu will be set up in all seven provinces.

Minister Dhakal said hospitals would be built especially for the treatment of COVID-19 infected patients in the provinces as well.

As the COVID-19 pandemic goes on, Minister Dhakal urged mass media not to disseminate any news that would weaken people’s morale to fight against COVID-19.

He said efforts were being coordinated with foreign diplomatic missions to procure medicines and equipment related to COVID-19.

According to him, the government has readied aircraft to ferry medicines and equipment from India and China once the confirmation on their supply is confirmed.
