NEW DELHI: Indian aviation watchdog Directorate General of Civil Aviation DGCA is set to expand screening operations for passengers arriving from Nepal, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia.

In a statement, the DGCA said it has decided to expand the screening of passengers arriving on flights from the four countries.

The new list of the countries comes in addition to the already existing screening of flights arriving from China, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand.

Now, all arrivals from these countries are being tested even though they are not showing any symptoms.
