PM Oli, Home Minister Thapa hold talks in Baluwatar

KATHMANDU: Amid heightened row between the Oli and Prachand-Nepal factions, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ has met with Prime Minister KP Oli at his official in Baluwatar residence Wednesday.

According to the sources, Thapa reached Baluwatar on Wednesday morning and had an hour-long talk with him.

Although PM Oli and Prachanda-Nepal groups are trying to bring Minister Thapa to their camp, Badal has yet to clarify his position.

The meeting between PM Oli and Home Minister Thapa is considered “meaningful” at a time when both the factions are trying to woo the latter to their camps.
