3 killed as truck falls off Kaligandaki corridor



GAINDAKOT: Three people have died when a truck ferrying cement from Thambeshi of Bulingtar rural municipality skidded off the road and fell down the Bhokrephat cliff in Gaindakot municipaltiy Wednesday morning.

According to Area Police Office, Gaindakot, the truck, Na 3 Kha 5339, belonging to Lohani Construction Pvt. has fallen off the steep cliff at Bhokrephat of Kaligandaki corridor.

“The truck fell some 200 meters down the road, killing three people on the spot,” police  informed.

Three dead bodies have been recovered from the accident site which is 35 kilometers away from Gaindakot. Police said they are investigating the case.
