Mahaseth back to Oli Camp



KATHMANDU: Former Minister and Standing Committee member of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Raghu Bir Mahaseth, who had attended the meetings organized by NCP’s Prachanda-Nepal faction till Tuesday, has changed his camp and is addressing party gatherings of PM Oli group in Province 2 today.

Former Minister Mahaseth was seen in all gatherings at Prachanda-Nepal group till Tuesday evening.

NCP’s newly appointed Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal had claimed on Monday that the Mahaseth was with his group of NCP.

Although Mahaseth had abstained PM Oli faction’s central committee meeting held in Baluwatar, his wife Julie Mahato was in the meeting.

NCP sources said that Mahaseth was at the Standing Committee meeting at Babarmahal has not signed the Central Committee meeting minute which inscribed the action against PM KP Oli.

Mahaseth has joined back Oli-camp from Tuesday evening and is scheduled to address the Province wise cadre training in Province 2 on Wednesday afternoon.
