KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda has said that the political proposal of Prime Minister and Chairman KP Oli will determine the future of the party.
In a meeting with Standing Committee members Haribol Gajurel and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Prachanda said that disputes within the party would resolve or escalate further depending on Oli’s proposal.
Gajurel also said that when they asked Prachanda to exhibit flexibility, Prachanda replied that Oli needed to be flexible.
Rayamajhi and Gajurel have urged Prachanda to find a way to save the party and take the party in a new way.
Prachanda has accused Oli of not being serious about uniting and running factions across the country.
The second-tier leaders are trying to resume talks between two Chairmen to take the party out of the quagmire.
