NAWALPARASI: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Dr. Shashanka Koirala has said that he was amazed by the situation in which elections can be held in the United States and Bihar but not that of the party.
Aiming at NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Koirala said that the intention of the leadership to postpone the election will end the life of the party.
Discussing that every election brings change, he said that the elections held in the United States and Bihar have given the message that the General Convention of the party can be held on time.
He stressed that the party’s convention should not be postponed under any pretext.
