Morang records three COVID-19 deaths in last 24 hours



BIRATNAGAR: Morang reported three deaths from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

One each succumbed to the pandemic at COVID-19 Treatment Center of Koshi Hospital, Birat Teaching Hospital, and Max Hospital.

An 82-year-old woman of Mechinagar Municipality-4 of Jhapa died at the Koshi Hospital COVID-19 Treatment Center in Biratnagar on Monday morning.

According to Gyan Bahadur Basnet, Manager of the Treatment Center, the woman was diagnosed coronavirus positive on November 19.

According to Basnet, the woman, who was admitted for treatment, died at around 8:30 in the morning with symptoms of breathlessness and fever.

Similarly, a 55-year-old man of Suryodaya Municipality-10 of Ilam died at Birat Teaching Hospital in Budhiganga Municipality of Morang on Sunday night.

Likewise, a woman from Udayapur died at Max Hospital in Biratnagar.

A 32-year-old woman of Triyuga Municipality-3 of Udayapur died at around 6:30 pm on Sunday, said hospital’s Supervisor Amit Mandal.
