Biplav cadre arrested in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: A cadre of outlawed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ has been arrested in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a police squad deployed from District Police Office (DPO), Kanchanpur arrested 22-year-old Dipendra Singh Airee from of Bhimdatta municipality-9.

He was taken under control while he was distributing flyers along Brahma Dev Highway on Sunday night, said police.

“A Biplav cadre was arrested with flyers,” said DSP Amar Bahadur Thapa of DPO, Kanchanpur.

Thapa said they are investigating Airee after taking him under control.
