BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 saw 460 new cases of coronavirus on Friday.
According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 1, the province saw 262 cases in Morang, 131 in Sunsari, 41 in Jhapa, 11 in Udayapur, 4 in Sankhuwasabha, and three in Tehrathum today.
Similarly, there have been two coronavirus cases each in Dhankuta and Khotang and four cases from outside the province Friday.
With this, the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached to 16,468.
Province 1, got 488 people discharged today taking the coronavirus discharge case tally 7,113 now.
The province had got 1,585 swabs tested in the last 24 hours. The province has got 152, 596 swabs tested till date.
