COVID-19 kills 90,021, infects 5,640,496 in India

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.6 million in India until Wednesday morning.

With 80,391 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,640,496.

Currently, 968,655 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,581,820 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 90,000.

With 1,056 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 90,021, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus pandemic has killed 974,543 and infected 31,763,352 people globally.
