COVID-19: Province 1 sees 166 new cases in 24 hours

BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has witnessed 166 additional cases of the coronavirus pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry for Social Development of Province 1, the province saw 76 cases in Sunsari, 56 in Morang, 24 in Jhapa, three in Sankhuwasabha and one in Tehrathum.

The ministry also informed that six cases were from the people outside the province.

With this the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 5,859.

Similarly, 37 people have been discharged after recovery in province 1 on Tuesday. The number of discharged people in this province has reached 2,591 as of Tuesday.
