Prohibitory orders enforced in 35 districts; 12 districts partially



KATHMANDU: Prohibitory orders have been enforced in 35 districts across the country in a bid to stem the spread of coronavirus.

Likewise, 12 districts have been under partial lockdown.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said the District Administration Offices have enforced prohibitory orders as per the decision of the COVID-19 District Emergency Management Committee.

According to the Ministry, complete prohibitory orders have been enforced in districts like Saptari, Dhanusha, Banke, Parsa, Bara, Mahottari, Sunsari, Sarlahi, Siraha, Syangja, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Rautahat, Dhankuta, Palpa, Ramechhap, and Dolakha.

Likewise, Nawalparasi (West), Sindhupalchowk, Gorkha, Arghakhanchhi, Kaski, Kailali, Pyuthan, Dailekh, Gulmi, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Kalikot, Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, Rupandehi, Chitwan and Baitadi are also under complete prohibitory orders.

Districts like Nuwakot, Jumla, Morang, Darchula, Jhapa, Makwanpur, Dhading, Udaypur, Tanahun, Surkhet, Baglung, Rukum (West) and Jajarkot are under partial prohibitory orders.
