BUTWAL: Two people succumbed to coronavirus in Butwal on Sunday.

The Province-5 Health Directorate said a 67-year-old woman of Butwal Sub-metropolis-1 died of coronavirus on Sunday afternoon.

She was a kidney patient with high blood pressure, and was brought to the hospital after she complained of breathing difficulty, doctors said.

Likewise, a 38-year-male of Samarimai rural municipality-2 succumbed to coronavirus on Sunday afternoon.

They were receiving treatment on ventilator at Lumbini Provincial Hospital.
