Barber tests positive for COVID-19, contract-tracing initiated



KATHMANDU: The Kandaghari area of ​​Kageshwari Manohara Municipality Ward No. 9 of Kathmandu has been sealed after a coronavirus was found in a person running a barber shop.

The municipality is looking for bearded/hairdressers in the saloon and collecting swabs from them saying that there may be coronavirus infection at the community level.

The collected swabs have been sent to laboratory for the test.

Even though the government has not opened barber shop operations, saloons are being operated clandestinely.
