Rautahat establishes isolation of 300-bed capacity



RAUTAHAT: An isolation center with 300 beds capacity has been established at the Jay Kisan Poly-technical Campus  building, Dharahari of Rautahat district.

The center was established as the number of coronavirus cases has increased of late.

According to Dr. Krishna Sah, the Chief of District Hospital Gaur, the isolation center established in initiation of Chief District Officer Indra Dev Yadav and the District Crisis Management Committee has come into operation from Saturday evening.

Dr. Sah informed that a team of 4 medics under the coordination of a medical doctor will look after the people in isolation.

In the meantime, using the the PCR machine to be provided by the Ministry of Social Development, the coronavirus tests will be available in the district within two weeks from now.

Rautahat, which has seen 1,515 coronavirus cases till date, has 150 active cases at present.

The statistics at the District Administration Office Rautahat show that the district has seen 3 coronavirus deaths and 1 coronavirus suspected case till date.
