Baitadi to begin PCR Lab with support from Province Government

BAITADI: Preparations are on the final stage to run a PCR laboratory in the District Hospital of Baitadi with support from the Sudurpaschim Province Government.

Chief of the District Hospital Dr. Basanta Raj Joshi said that more than 90 percent of the works related to the physical structure required for the operation of the laboratory was completed. He said the PCR test will begin next week.

The PCR test machine has already arrived in the district. “We are preparing to fix the machine,” Dr. Joshi shared.

The District Hospital is recruiting the technical human resources needed for the laboratory.
