Four cops deployed at Province-1 Police Office tests COVID-19 positive



MORANG: Four more policemen deployed at Province-1 Police Office in Biratnagar have been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus.

Superintendent of Police Deepak Pokharel said that the infection was confirmed in four more policemen on Thursday.

After a policeman was found infected on Wednesday, swabs of 22 people personnel were collected and out of them, reports of four came positive, he said.

They are being sent to the COVID-19 treatment center of Koshi Hospital for treatment.

The province police office has been sealed since Wednesday after the infection was confirmed in the police.
