KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress lawmaker Dr. Minendra Rijal has lambasted the recently held video conference between the ruling Nepal Communist Party and the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Lawmaker Dr. Rijal sought the attention of the ruling NCP asking the party’s senior leaders on the significance of such training, and the CPC playing the role of a bridge to narrow down the differences between NCP senior leaders.

Dr. Rijal also came down heavily on the ruling party for paving way to allow foreigners intervene in Nepal’s internal matters. “Such a practice cannot be acceptable,” he said while speaking during today’s meeting of the House of representatives.

Dr. Rijal remarked that the inability to handle sensitive and specialized issues in a diplomatic way has defamed the leaders of both sides. He drew NCP’s attention towards such sensitive issues.

“We have special relation with our neighbors India and China,” Dr. Rijal said, adidng, “The leaders’ inability to understand the diplomatic sensitivity and the cordial relationship between the nation and the people have put the leaders here and the Southern neighborhood under question.”

He expressed his dissatisfaction at the ruling party’s recent workshop where the leaders here were ‘trained’ by the leaders of CPC.

“The northern neighbor’s training the ruling party leaders and mediating in the party politics is unacceptable,” he added, “I want to draw the ruling party’s attention towards it.”

Lawmaker Rijal has also sought justification at the government’s decision to procure vehicles with 4G surveillance for the Prime Minister.
