COVID-19 testing equipment arrive in Nepal from China

KATHMANDU: Nepal government has received COVID-19 testing equipment, including two PCR machines and 20,.000 kits, used in the machine provided by the government of Tibet.

According to the Health Ministry, Nepal received the equipment worth more than Rs 800 million.

This equipment is likely to reach Kathmandu today itself, according to Health Ministry.

According to the Ministry, the medical supplies include N95 masks, 10,000 pieces of PPE, 1000 infrared thermometers, among others.

Tibet authorities handed over the supplies to Nepali officials at the Miteri Pul in Tatopani.
