KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli today reiterated his commitment of further consolidating the party’s internal unity.

In a statement issued today on the occasion of the establishment day of the Communist Party of Nepal, PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) said the day would inspire party leaders, cadres and supporters to further strengthen the party’s internal unity.

His statement comes two days after the cabinet issued an ordinance relaxing requirements to split a party.

He further stated that this day, which also marked the birthday of Vladimir Lenin, would inspire all party workers and leaders to consolidate its final unity process for the past two years.

The NCP, he said, has got the responsibility of running the government by becoming the country’s decisive force through the popular vote.

Prime Minister Oli also said he would pay his respect to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the course of movement to establish Nepal into a republic.
