Reactionary forces still working against NCP: Dahal



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said the time has come for the party to lay the basis of socialism as per the mandate given by the people by defeating all the regressive forces.

Issuing a statement on the occasion of 71st anniversary of the NCP today, Dahal said that the domestic and foreign reactionary forces are still actively working against NCP even after its historic unification.

Dahal in the statement has urged party rank and file to steer the party towards the set goal by resolving the internal differences through open and democratic discussions.

“In the course of political struggle that has been continuing since that last 71 years, the communist movement has not only steered the Nepali politics for the betterment of the society but also given a new message to the communist movement of the world,” reads the statement.

Meanwhile, Dahal has urged one and all to get united to fight Coronavirus pandemic strictly following the measures suggested by the experts.
