NCP Chitwan demands investigation into mistreatment of leader Pandey



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Communist Party Chitwan has expressed concern over the incident that occurred at Rapti Municipality in the district yesterday.

Issuing a press release today, the Chitwan chapter of the party demanded an investigation on the disturbance created in the program attended by Surendra Pande, standing committee member of the party and lawmaker elected from constituency no 1 of Chitwan.

The press release issued by Chitwan Chair of the party Yam Bahadur Pariyar and Secretary Krishna Bhakta Pokhrel said the people not belonging to the party committee tried to disrupt the program lawmaker Pande was addressing.

“District committee of the NCP condemns the indecent behavior meted out during the official meeting of the municipal committee of the party and the discussion held on development activities in Rapti Municipality,” the press release stated.
