Minister Pun directs NEA to ensure uninterrupted power supply during Dashain 



KATHMANDU: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Barshaman Pun has directed the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) to make the electricity service more efficient, reliable and effective across the country.

Minister Pun has instructed to provide uninterrupted service during Dashain, saying that electricity consumption will increase during the festival.

“I am confident that there will be no complaints from the customers about the services provided by the NEA,” said Minister Pun, who is also the Chairman of the NEA Steering Committee.

Minister Pun expressed his confidence that there would be no problem in service delivery as NEA has an experienced and efficient team from top to bottom.

He urged the NEA to keep a 24-hour response team ready to solve any production, transmission, or distribution system issues.
