BANKE: A coronavirus infected person died while undergoing treatment in Kohalpur on Tuesday.

A 64-year-old man from Thakur Baba Municipality of Bardiya succumbed to the pandemic while undergoing treatment at Kohalpur Medical College, said Naresh Shrestha, COVID-19 Focal Person at District Public Health Office, Banke.

A total of five people from outside districts have died in Banke while undergoing treatment.

Earlier, COVID-19 patients from Kailali, Achham, Arghakhanchi and Surkhet had died while receiving treatment.
