RPP’s unity general convention in May, plough as election symbol

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is scheduled to hold a unity convention in 8-11 May, 2021.

A meeting of the party’s Central Working Committee held on Tuesday decided to hold the party’s general convention on May 8 to May 11, said RPP leader Mohan Shrestha.

According to Shrestha, the meeting has also decided to register the party with the Election Commission today while upholding the RPP’s constitution.

The meeting also ended the long-disputed election symbol. According to Shrestha, the meeting has decided that the RPP’s flag will have a cow and the party’s election symbol will be plough.
