Chitwan reports 23 additional COVID-19 cases



CHITWAN: Twenty-three additional coronavirus cases were reported in Chitwan district.

The new cases were confirmed during tests carried out at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital. Among those infected, 22 are from Chitwan and one is from Bara, said the hospital.

According to a press note issued by Bharatpur Hospital on Monday night, three females and one male are from Bharatpur, 10 men and five females  including a seven-month old toddler from Khairahani and two females and one male is from Ratnapur.

The remaining one is a 68-year-old woman from Bara Jitpur, informed Dr Nitu Adhikari, the chief at the laboratory of Bharatpur Hospital.
