India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 88,000-mark

KATHMANDU: The number of coronavirus cases has crossed 5.5 million in India as of Tuesday morning.

With 74,493 cases in the past 24 hours, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 5,560,105.

Currently, 976,420 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 4,494,720 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed 88,000.

With 1,056 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 88,965, according to Worldometers.
