Gandaki Province reports 11 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Eleven new infection cases were detected in Gandaki Pradesh on Saturday morning.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Gandaki Pradesh, 11 new infection cases were diagnosed during tests at the laboratory of Regional Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara.

The newly infected are three from Kaski, one from Baglung, two each from Tanahun and Syangja and three from Nawalparasi East, said Dr Binod Bindu Sharma, the spokesperson for COVID-19 Control and Prevention Program of Gandaki Pradesh.

Preparations are underway to take the infected to isolation wards of their respective districts, said Sharma.

With this, the number of infection cases has reached 1,855 in Gandaki Pradesh.
