Week-long prohibitory order imposed in Gulmi



GULMI: A one-week-long lockdown has been imposed in Gulmi after coronavirus cases spiked of late.

“A week-long prohibitory order has been imposed starting Friday midnight in consultation with the District Crisis Management Center”, said Chief District Officer of Gulmi Bharat Kumar Sharma.

All the vehicular movements have been banned throughout the period except for those ferrying essential commodities including foodstuffs, vegetables, drinking water, and medicine. The order will remain effective until August 28.
